Broadcasting is evolving rapidly, bringing new layers of complexity with each technological advance. Managing this growing network of signals and formats can be daunting. But MAVRIC changes the game. It streamlines the entire signal monitoring process, empowering you to view and listen to every signal, no matter where you are. MAVRIC utilizes probes provided as “option cards” installed in your in-rack monitors, or via openGear “monitor-on-a-card” hardware.

1. SIGNAL AGNOSTIC

MAVRIC brings clarity to your workflow. No matter the signal type—baseband or IP, Compressed or Uncompressed—MAVRIC’s intuitive interface lets you diagnose and resolve issues instantly. You can use MAVRIC probes to monitor SDI, AES, MADI, Analog as well as AES67, Dante, Ravenna, ST2022-6 and ST2110 signals. You can create a preset which combines Baseband and IP signals, to create a truly signal-agnostic monitoring experience.  

02. LOCATION AGNOSTIC

MAVRIC probes can be located anywhere in the world, and you can instantly listen to audio, monitor meter levels and loudness, and view video for signals connected to those probes. This unique capability proves invaluable in sporting events that span across wide geographical regions. Having probes in the remotely operated OBV’s can provide visibility into signals in remote locations to personnel in the broadcast center. Likewise having probes in the broadcast center can provide visibility to truck managers in OBV during a switchover to backup.

03. AUTOMATED ALERTING

MAVRIC probes can be configured to detect and fire alerts for audio, video and metadata error conditions. Alerts are sent into the Cloud by probes, and distributed across a group of operators who can then quickly respond as needed. The marks a shift towards a “monitoring-by-exception” paradigm. Alerts are received as a page sent to the accompanying mobile app, ensuring quick delivery and immediate attention to the problem.

04. INTEGRATED CONFERENCING
