This optional SFP and software activation key can be purchased and installed in any available IP-Capable iSeries SFP slot (non-MADI SFP slot) and is only required if an SDI input is needed via fiber. But it can also serve as an additional 12G/3G/HD/SD-SDI input is required beyond what is available in the applicable base unit. Dolby may also be decoded with this option if a Dolby option is separately purchased. Functionality Note: If this optional SFP is ordered for an iSeries unit that only monitors audio and does not monitor video, then only the audio-essence will be processed and video will not be available.
